Coming Soon For Your Vehicle's In-Dash Navigation System

In one of the most significant developments to the JAMNAV GPS navigation system since its release, MGI has successfully installed the platform in a factory-installed multimedia system, in this case, BMW’s iDrive platform. While MGI had successfully developed in-dash platforms before, these were developed on aftermarket systems, using Pioneer or Kenwood head units which simply displayed the JAMNAV data. This is the first time in Jamaica that GPS has been adapted for a factory-installed platform, using existing displays and controls to access the system, all without compromising existing features, such as the radio, reverse alerts and other features.

Available now for Audis, BMWs, Mercedes Benzes, Volvos, Nissans, Volkswagens, Hondas and Porsches (custom configurations for other vehicles are also possible), the system enables drivers and owners of these vehicles to utilize a feature not previously accessible on their vehicles before in Jamaica. The fully plug-and-play installation also does not compromise the vehicles’ factory warranties. The system allows for full functionality while driving, retaining all features of the Garmin platform and JAMNAV database from the comfort and familiarity of the existing vehicle interface.

This ultra-premium product development is in response to overwhelming demand from the general public for this functionality in addition to the existing JAMNAV product line, and is the latest in a continuing stream of innovations from both the JAMNAV and broader MGI research and development teams.
